Kirstie Alley Promotes New Weight Loss Program

I have always felt a 'kinship' of sorts with actress Kirstie Alley. When Kirstie lost all that weight using Jenny Craig I applauded her. And when the actress gained back the weight, and made tabloid covers with rude remarks attached, I felt so sorry for her. So I read with interest and a smile, the article about Kirstie on People.com. In it, Kirstie explains how she started her new weight loss program, and lost twenty pounds on it since January!

Alley says that over the past few years "my two biggest hurdles in weight loss and maintenance are cravings and too big of an appetite."  I can so relate. Especially with the cravings part!

Her ambition was to create a weight-loss system that doesn't include "meals that I can keep in my closet," she says, and "also one that would actually improve mine and my kids health along with shrinking my awesomely ample bottom."

And after two years in the making, Alley has successfully launched OrganicLiaison, the country's first USDA-approved organic weight-loss program that specifically targets those two problem areas.

According to a company press release, Organic Liaison offers clients all-natural supplements that curb cravings and a sleep aide with vitamins and an essential amino acid that helps reduce the urge to snack on carbohydrates and also alleviates muscle pains.

Kirstie has a new reality TV show, Kirstie Alley's Big Life, which debuts March 21 at 10 p.m. on A&E. On it, Kirstie will share with viewers her mission to lose weight and get healthier.

Celebrity Baby News: Army Wives Katherine Bell Expecting Baby #2

Catherine Bell is expecting baby #2, and it is a boy! Bell, one of the stars of the TV show, "Army Wives," is a mom already to 1 1/2 year old daughter, Gemma.  The actress and her husband, Adam Beason, are expecting their new arrival in late summer.

“I’m so excited to be having a baby boy,” says Catherine, who has a 6 ½-year-old daughter, Gemma. “She has been asking for a sibling for a long time. I’ll be sure to remind her of that when it’s time to change his diapers.”

The actress wed Adam, 40, a screenwriter she met on the set of the 1992 film Death Becomes Her, in 1994. Army Wives will return to Lifetime in April.

Jason and Molly Tie The Knot

We have the second official Bachelor Franchise Wedding. Yep, Jason and Molly officially wed Saturday with about 300 guests in attendance.

Among the guests who were paid showed up for the big event: Bachelor alumni Jillian Harris, her fiance, Ed Swiderski, Trista and Ryan Sutter (the first couple from the ABC franchise to ever wed), DeAnna Pappas, Jesse Csinsak and Kiptyn Locke. And of course, the infamous host, interragator, and all around nice guy always searching for ratings and money, Chris Harrison. Oh, yes, and Chris's wife.

If you are bummed out because you did not get an invite to Jason and Molly's wedding today in Palos Verdes, cheer up; ABC will be televising the whole wedding thing on their March 8 ABC special, The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding.

Go ahead. Mark your calendars now. I'll wait.

Karina Smirnoff Cut From Dancing With The Stars

Karina Smirnoff is probably one of the most recognized names to come out of ABC's hit show, Dancing With the Stars. But we will not be seeing Karina when the new season of DWTS begins it's tenth season. The show will start it's upcoming season with just 11 celebs instead of 16 like they had the last time around.So not all the pro-dancers will have a place on the dance floor this time around.

Smirnoff has met the same fate as fellow dancers, Lacey Schwimmer and Jonathon Roberts, and has been cut from the dancing competition. But it is speculated that though Karina will not be kicking up her heels with a celebrity dance partner, she will be behind the scenes at DWTS helping with the choreography.

The new celebrity lineup will be announced on Monday during the Bachelor finale with their partners revealed the following morning.

Marie Osmond's Tragic Loss

The 18 year old son of Marie Osmond committed suicide Friday evening. Horrible tragic news and our hearts go out to Marie Osmond and the Osmond family.

Michael Blosil, one of eight children Osmond has raised with ex-husband Brian Blosil. apparently leapt to his death around 9 p.m. Friday in Los Angeles, reports Entertainment Tonight, which quotes Marie's brother, Donny Osmond, as saying, "Please pray for my sister and her family."

Marie Osmond released a statement Saturday. It says, “My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

Michael left a note explaining he intended to end his life after a lengthy battle with severe depression that left him, he said, feeling as if he had no friends and could never fit in, according to ET.

Michael entered a rehab facility when he was 16, for reasons that were never shared publicly. And by 2009, Marie told PEOPLE that Michael seemed to be turning his life around. He was finishing up his last year of high school while living with his mom in Las Vegas, where she and Donny headline a show.

"I couldn't be more proud of him," Marie said at the time. "He's got a 3.9 GPA in high school. He's looking at scholarships to some wonderful colleges."

A rep for Donny and Marie Osmond confirmed to PEOPLE that the show at the Flamingo Hotel was canceled Saturday night. It is being determined how long the hiatus will remain in effect.

Brooke Mueller Leaves Rehab, returns Home

Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, has apparently been given the 'ok' to leave the private LA rehab she was at, and return to her home with a team of rehab experts with her. This according to Mueller's lawyer, who spoke with PEOPLE exclusively.

"Brooke's recovery efforts have been superb," says attorney Yale Galanter. "She has been able to interact with her twin sons Bob and Max which has been instrumental in her recovery and ability to take the rehab team home with her. She is thrilled to be back in her own house."

Muller and husband Charlie Sheen have been dealing with domestic problems , which intensified Christmas day, when the couple got into a fight that resulted in the Two and a Half Men star's arrest on domestic violence charges.

Sheen, 44, entered rehab in Los Angeles last week, according to his rep.

Besides the rehab experts, Mueller has the children's regular nanny and a housekeeper also living in her home helping her. Sheen's parents, Martin and Janet Sheen, have been said to be helping in taking care of 11-month-old Bob and Max, and Mueller's parents, Moira and Jon Fiore, will be flying in from Palm Beach to help this week.

"Brooke did much better in rehab under a confidential setting," Galanter tells PEOPLE. "Her interaction with the children has been great and her overall recovery is very good. Being with the kids has been amazing for her. And now that they are in their own home, Brooke intends to be the best mother possible."

Aw...actor Jim Carrey has a brand new role: Grandfather! Carrey's daughter Jane and husband Alex Santana welcomed their first child, son Jackson Riley Santana, at 12:28 a.m. Friday in Los Angeles.

Baby Alex weighed in at at 7 lbs., 11 oz, and measured 20 inches long.

Tiger Woods is out at Gatorade

Gatorade is done with Tiger Woods. The company confirmed Friday that it had discontinued its endorsement deal with Woods, with a Gatorade spokesperson stating-

"We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship," Jennifer Schmit said in a statement. "We wish him all the best."

Accenture and AT&T have also dropped Tiger Woods.

Charlie Sheen's Wife Goes To a New Rehab

Wanting more privacy, Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, has switched rehab centers. Meanwhile, Children and Family Services made a routine visit to the couples baby sons.

A source close to Mueller spoke with People about the couple, saying "Brooke and Charlie are getting along okay, and he supports her stay in rehab."

Stan Rosenfield, a rep for Charlie Sheen, confirmed that L.A.'s Department of Children and Family Services paid a "routine, procedural" visit to Sheen's house on Sunday to check on 11-month-old twins Max and Bob.

The visit was made at the request of the Pitkin County Department of Social Services in Colorado, which is investigating Sheen and Mueller's fight on Christmas Day in Aspen.

Is Simon Cowell Engaged ?

Well, even though rumors are flying that American Idol judge Simon Cowell is engaged to girlfriend, Mezhgan Hussainy, Cowell's rep says he cannot confirm it.

".... when I asked him last Wednesday, when he and Mezhgan were about to fly back to L.A., I said, 'Are you engaged?' His answer was, 'Max, I'm not engaged.' That was last Wednesday."
says Simon's rep., Max Clifford.

Simon Cowell's mother also denies her son is engaged, according to Clifford.

But if you happen to be a Simon Cowell fan that is hoping to see Cowell walk down the aisle soon (before he walks out the American Idol doors...), don't get too disappointed just yet.

It could happen, and sooner than later.

Clifford, who is getting married himself in a few weeks, says he wouldn't be surprised if Cowell followed him down the aisle sooner rather than later.

"I said to him, 'So, there's going to be two weddings this year?' " Clifford says. "Normally he would say, 'Don't be so ridiculous' or 'In your wildest dreams.' But he said, 'Who knows?' "

Celebrity Baby News: Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi New Baby Girl!

Padma Lakshmi has given birth to a baby girl! The Top Chef host gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday," her rep tells PEOPLE. "Mother and baby are well and happy."

Aw. So happy for Padma!

Lakshmi, 39, announced her pregnancy in Oct. after years of struggling with endometriosis. She has not identified the baby's father. In Jan., Padma visited Jimmy Fallon's show, where she slipped and mentioned the baby was a girl. The mom-to-be had been keeping the sex of her unborn baby a secret.

Right before the birth, a friend of the TV chef told PEOPLE: "Padma is very happy. She's wanted to be a mom for a long time. She was very relieved and happy when she got pregnant."

The Countess LuAnn De Lesseps Has a New Man

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has a new man. The Bravo realty TV show star did not let her recent divorce keep her down for long. The Class with the Countess author is dating French wine distributor Jacques Azoulay, whom sh erefers to as a " wow kind of guy. He’s just lovely.”

The couple recently returned from a trip to the City of Light, where de Lesseps met Azoulay’s relatives. The Countess told People Magazine-

“I just got back from Paris for Valentine’s Day. We went to see the parts of Paris that Jacques grew up in … it went very well. [His family are] very nice people, lovely people.”

“In Paris, we had a walk at the Place de la Concorde … we did a tour at 2 a.m. after dinner. It was amazing,” de Lesseps recalls. “There was nobody on the streets of Paris and it was lit up like a scene from a movie. It was so beautiful.”

“I feel very lucky,” she said. “I never thought I would be lucky enough to find somebody like that again in my life.”

Controversial Picture Sends Olympian Scotty Lago Home

Scotty Lago won the Bronze Medal Wednesday in the men's halfpipe snowboarding event, but Friday Lago voluntarily left the Winter Olympics. Risqué photos published of a woman kissing and biting the Olympian's medal caused controversy and dismay, prompting Lago to apologize to the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, which required athletes to attend a special ambassador program prior to the games to avoid potential publicity nightmares.

The controversial pictures showed Lago, 22, with his bronze medal around his waist, with the medal hanging over a, um, sensitive area, and a woman kissing it on a public street late Thursday in Vancouver.

A second shot shows the woman biting the medal, but this time Lago is holding it up by the logo on his Team USA T-shirt.

I do not know what to think about Tiger wood's apology yesterday. Seriously, I was kind of hoping to dislike the guy more than I already did. Instead, I find myself torn now. While I certainly do believe the speech itself was amazingly prepared and practiced, I have to admit the guy sounded sincere (or is an excellent actor,) and came across humbled and ashamed.

I am happy that Elin was not by her man's side on Friday. Take time Elin, lots of it. While Tiger says he is going to rehab for his "problem," once an addict, always an addict. Or maybe I should say, once a spoiled boy, always a spoiled boy??

"I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to. I felt that I had worked hard my entire life and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me. I felt I was entitled."

Tiger having his mom there however seemed like a ploy to get sympathy. That part didn't work for me. But it looked reminiscent of a little boy who knows he did wrong going to his mom for that hug and unconditional love only a mom can give.

So while I am torn by Tiger Wood's apology, I do feel the guy deserves some credit for making the public apology and standing up to take credit for his affairs.

Heidi Klum Introduces Her New Maternity Clothing Lines

Heidi Klum launched her new maternity lines,  Loved and Lavish,  with an  an invite-only baby shower for New York moms last Thursday.

The Loved Line will be available through Motherhood Maternity, while Lavish will be available through A Pea in the Pod.

Klum spoke with People's Baby Celebrity Blog about the inspiration for her new maternity clothing lines:

"Loved was inspired by the love surrounding you and your baby while you’re pregnant. We came up with Lavish because there’s no grander expression of everything you want to give yourself and the child growing within. It’s all about the extravagance of love."

And Klum's motivation for the clothing line?

"I experienced some style challenges during my four pregnancies, so I wanted to create maternity fashions that allow women to show off their beautiful shapes. As my bump grew, I would look in the mirror and be in awe of the changes happening to my body. Tiger Woods Visiting Elin and Kids?

Tiger is definitely out of seclusion and roaming about once again. First we see pictures of the elusive Tiger jogging in Orlando, Florida, and now E!Online is reporting that Woods has been spending time at the Windermere, Fla., home he technically still shares with his wife, Elin Nordegren and the couple's two children.

The insider reportedly doesn't know how long the visits to the family home have been going on, but "as of this week," Woods has been coming and going. No word on whether Elin and the kids were anywhere in the vicinity when he was there.

Kevin Eubanks Still Sticking Around Tonight Show (maybe)

So yesterday word was that Jay Leno's band leader/guitarist Kevin Eubanks was leaving the Tonight Show and Leno. But some Twittering by Eubanks indicates that Leno's long time guitar-playing sidekick will still be around after all. Just not as much.

"I'll still be around on the show, but less as of now," Eubanks wrote. "I'll tweet when a definite plan is set. Thanks again guys."

Kevin Eubanks joined the Tonight Show with Leno in 1992, composing the music that plays over the closing credits, and was appointed musical director in 1995 when Branford Marsalis left.

See Tiger (Woods) Run, Hear Tiger (Woods) Talk (Friday)

The Tiger is back. So it would seem anyway. Tiger Woods has emerged from whatever man-cave he was in, and is making his way back into the public eye. And hearts. He hopes (I'm assuming here. Tiger may not really care if we love him again or not.)

The elusive Woods was seen jogging on Wednesday in Orlando, Fla., near his home. This is the first time Woods has been spotted in Florida since his sexual  scandal exploded last November.

A statement posted on his Web site says Woods will be addressing a group of "friends, colleagues and close associates" on Friday at a golf course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The media will be invited, but can't ask questions.Ouch.

The Tiger is in control.

"While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him," the statement says. "He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss."

Think we'll see The Tiger cry? Or pretend to at least? Come on, Tiger, show us a tear.

Jesse James's Lost Dog is Found

Cinnabun is home!   West Coast Choppers owner,and Sandra Bullock's husband, Jesse James.  Tweeted Wednesday that he and his precious pit bull CinnaBun have been reunited-

"So Happy! Thnx Everyone for all the help! She looks like she hz had quite the Adventure!"

Cinnabun went missing in Long Beach, California this past January. James had hired a pet detective and offered a reward of $5,000 for the dog's return. According to TMZ, the West Coast Choppers  got a call from a Long Beach woman who had found the dog wandering around her area finally saw one of the fliers, contacted James, and brought the dog to his shop.

James is one happy guy tonight, and it is probably a safe bet that Cinnabun, though about 15 lbs. lighter and a bit dirtier, is one very happy pooch!

Tori Spelling is writing her first children's book,  Presenting…Tallulah, the tale of a spunky little girl who is constantly told what not to do: not to wear jeans, not to get dirty. Tallulah, illustrated by Vanessa Brantley Newton, goes on sale September 2.

 Spelling has already written two books,  sTORI Telling and Mommywood, and has a third grown-up book ,uncharted terriTori, due out in June. Tori and hubby Dean McDermott will be returning to Bravo this season in their reality TV show, which follows the couple along with their two children, Liam, 2, and Stella, 1,

Scottish Terrier Sadie Making The Celebrity Rounds

It's not such a dog's life after all for Sadie. The Scottish Terrier has become a celebrity over night since being named Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Championship Tuesday night. Sadie appeared on CBS's Early Show, visited with the ladies on The View, was primped and pampered for her appearance on ABC's Good Morning America. And Sadie still had an all important meeting with Donald Trump and the Empire State Building.

That pooch must be pooped. (sorry. couldn't resist.)

Getting Married: Nicole Richie, Joel Madden!

I am a sucker for celebrity marriages, and this latest news of a celeb couple getting ready to tie that proverbial knot has me grinning as if I were going to the darn wedding! Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married. One of my personal Hollywood favorites (since Nicole became a mommy anyway), have publicly announced they are engaged.

People has learned that during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman Monday night, Nicole  announced the engagement.

After the show, Richie headed to the New York restaurant Abe & Arthurs – without her fiancé – for dinner. “She was glowing,” says a source. “She was telling her table how happy she was.”

"Yep. i'm engaged. Very happy. Yeah we've been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same," Joel tweeted Monday night, after news of their plans to wed went wide.

Madden also tweeted about how great his family and friends are at keeping the engagement a secret:

He Tweeted: "P.s. thats why i love my family and friends. None of them are sources. All good tight lipped people who let us enjoy it! Thanks everybody"

Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, began dating in December 2006 and have  daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 5 months.

Jon Gosselin, TLC Reach Agreement

TLC and The Gosselin's will stay together,including Jon Gosselin. The bitter battle between the network and Jon is over, but specific details of the settlement have not been disclosed. What we do know is that the entire Gosselin family will remain under contract with TLC, and that the infamous reality show, Jon and Kate Plus Eight will NOT be returning.

Perhaps a new show featuring Kate with her new hair extensions moving on as a single mom with her new hair-do? 

Maybe a reality show where we follow Jon and his many women friends around town? Or working out at the gym?

Whatever format TLC chooses to profit from share the Gosselin family with TV viewers,  it seems we are not done with the Jon and Kate saga just yet.

Who Will Replace Samantha Harris on Dancing With the Stars?

After eight seasons co-hosting Dancing With the Stars with Tom Bergeron, Samantha Harrison is leaving the hit ABC show.

"It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha since she joined the Dancing With the Stars team in season two," Conrad Green, the show's executive producer, told E! News. "She will be much missed but always part of the Dancing With the Stars family.
"We support her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors."

Harris will be focusing on her jobs at The Insider and Entertainment Tonight Weekend. (Harris joined The Insider and E.T. in 2009, after several years as an E! correspondent.)

Her notice comes in advance of the show's 10th season kicking off on March 22. Earlier this month, ABC confirmed that there would be less couples dancing this spring than in the star-packed fall, and the celebs taking part will be announced a month or so before the show begins.

So who will replace Samantha Harris? So far the main contenders appear to be Melissa Rycroft, Brooke Burke and Vanessa Minnillo.

"They're only testing those three on camera for now," a production insider told E! News. "The testing will happen some time next week."

If the casting session doesn't work out, ABC has a backup plan to "rotate past contestants" in the role as backstage interviewer.

Ali, The Bachelor, and The Job

So who really believes Ali had to leave The Bachelor last night because her of her job? It doesn't make sense to me. After all, before Ali signed up for The Bachelor, didn't she have to let her job know first? Why would they now decide Ali had to return after just six weeks?

Strange that Ali was forced to choose between Jake and her job (supposedly at Facebook) on last night's Bachelor episode. Obviously Jake would not give Ali what she wanted: a promise she would be the last one standing with rose and ring in hand. So Ali left. Strange. Just saying.

This couldn't be a ratings ploy by ABC, could it? Nah.

But thankfully Jake seems to be handling his initial distress over Ali's walking out better-as shown by his statement on his blog:

But our Bachelor finds the bright side to Ali's departure quickly: "What could I do? Like I said, what a guy that Jake is. (sarcasm intended.) And still that Ali/Job thing???? Strange. Stranger still, word is Ali wants to return to the show next week. Why?

Jamie Lynn Spears Moves Out, Splits With Casey Aldridge

Jamie Lynn Spears has reportedly moved out of the Liberty, Miss., house she shared with boyfriend, Casey Aldridge and their 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, about six weeks ago and is now living with her mother, Lynne Spears.

Sources close to the couple have told People Magazine that Spears has split with Aldridge, and is in a new relationship with Hammond, La., businessman James Watson.

"She did a lot of growing up but he didn't," says a source. "I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation."

Spears, 18, has recently begun dating Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company close to Kentwood, La., according to a Spears family friend, who says, "he seems to be a nice guy."

As for Aldridge, he is reportedly on a long-term construction job in another state, according to a source who spoke to him about the break-up.

Survivor Will Continue With Jeff Probst

So Jeff Probst was a little hesitant when it came time to decide if he wanted to continue on as host of Survivor. After all, it has been twenty seasons and a lot of traveling, and Probst just wasn't sure if he wanted to lead anymore Tribal Councils.

But what would Survivor be without Jeff? Luckily, we won't have to find that out. Just yet, anyway.

“After 10 years and 20 seasons, it felt like a prudent and thoughtful thing to take a moment and breathe and think, ‘what’s next for me?’” says Probst, 47. “But I started to come back to the same conclusion, which was I am not finished with Survivor yet. It’s the right way to go.”

So Probst will be back for seasons 21 and 22 of Survivor. But after that.....who knows.

Tori and Dean: "Home Sweet Hollywood" Hits The Road

Oxygen's hit reality TV show, "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" is returning for it's fifth season, and will follow the family as they they take a cross country road trip. Oxygen is describing the fifth season of the show as a “fun-filled, bumpy ride while Tori and Dean take turns at the wheel.”

"Home Sweet Hollywood" is set to premiere April 5 (10 p.m. EST). Since Tori & Dean started running in 2007, it has become one of Oxygen’s highest rated shows, picking up a million viewers in the sought-after 18 to 49 demographic for its season 4 finale.

One Celebrity Wedding I won't Be Watching

Actually, the upcoming televised wedding of The Bachelor's Jason Messnick and Molly Malone is not a celebrity wedding, just a ploy by ABC to get ratings. Kind of like that ploy they pulled when Jason broke up with Melissa Rycroft on air.

Seems like ABC expects a lot of people to tune in and watch Jason and Molly walk down the aisle on-air March 8 (more than 17.1 million viewers watched the televised 2002wedding of The Bachelorette’s Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter.) Although I have no plans to watch this "Bachelor" wedding, I will be interested to see just what the ratings really turn out to be for the event.

The episode will include the bride’s dress fitting, event planning, bachelor and bachelorette parties and the ceremony. Other familiar faces from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are reportedly on the guest list.

Where in the World is Charlie Sheen's Car??

Charlie Sheen's car went missing early this morning. Charlie Sheen's car was found early this morning. Where, you ask? At the bottom of a cliff. To be exact, at the bottom of a cliff near the winding Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles police say.

Authorities located the car after a 911 call came in about it at 4 a.m. Friday, approximately the same time Sheen called to say his four-door Mercedes had been stolen.

That must be some kind of a lost and found record.

No suspects yet, and it is not clear if Sheen himself has any idea who may have taken his car.

Kristen Stewart's Photo May Cost Job for Fan

Uh...not a good thing to lose your job over a photo opp with a star, such as Twilight's Kristen Stewart. Seems that when Kristen finished her jury duty last week, a security guard asked for a picture with the vampire saga star. Now that guy let his friend's wife post the picture on the web. And now both guys' jobs are in jeopardy.

Apparently it is hush-hush when celebrities are on jury duty.
