Ali, The Bachelor, and The Job

So who really believes Ali had to leave The Bachelor last night because her of her job? It doesn't make sense to me. After all, before Ali signed up for The Bachelor, didn't she have to let her job know first? Why would they now decide Ali had to return after just six weeks?

Strange that Ali was forced to choose between Jake and her job (supposedly at Facebook) on last night's Bachelor episode. Obviously Jake would not give Ali what she wanted: a promise she would be the last one standing with rose and ring in hand. So Ali left. Strange. Just saying.

This couldn't be a ratings ploy by ABC, could it? Nah.

But thankfully Jake seems to be handling his initial distress over Ali's walking out better-as shown by his statement on his blog:

"When she told me she was leaving, my heart stopped. I wish I could've had Mike Tyson punch me square in the jaw, because it would have felt so much better than what I feeling as I watched AliCat drive away that night." (what a guy.)

But our Bachelor finds the bright side to Ali's departure quickly: "What could I do? I had to regain my composure and focus on the amazing women I had left; three women that I have fallen in love with. Leaving the country felt like a clean slate. Next week we are in Saint Lucia! EVERYTHING changes. This is where the real emotions start to run wild. Relationships are solidified and become unstoppable."

Like I said, what a guy that Jake is. (sarcasm intended.) And still that Ali/Job thing???? Strange. Stranger still, word is Ali wants to return to the show next week. Why?
