Still Loving NeNe!

Did you watch "the girls" last night? NeNe, Sheree, Kim and Lisa are all back on Bravo. But sadly, "nice and non-controversial" DeShawn Snow has been replaced by newcomer, Kandi (award winning song writer/singer--which viewers are reminded of several times via some heavy name-dropping.)

Sheree.... What did you think of Ms. "I am all that and more" Sheree last night? I thought it satisfying indeed to watch the party coordinator lose it and give Sheree a piece of his mind. (I am being understated with my comments here....the guy went ballistic on Sheree and all H**** broke lose!) But come on, the guy probably bit his tongue so many times before when dealing with the high and mighty Sheree...he just couldn't take it anymore. Maybe not professional, and I am sure he regrets it now, but I feel for the guy.

Kim....... gossiped a bit too much about her "friends and frenemies," and found herself pretty much alienated from Sheree (gasp! I thought they were "BFF" and all that at the end of the first season....they are both soooo beautiful and all!), and from NeNe (who seemed to want to make nice with her old buddy though), and most especially Lisa (whom Kim says called her a liar on last season's reunion show.) Poor Kim. We watched her visit a psychic (who predicted another baby for Kim,) and think about starting a wig line (because she does wear one, she admits now...and No, not due to cancer.)Kim and "Big Daddy" have split up....and Kim made sure to let us know it was Kim that walked away from the relationship because "Big Daddy" lost her trust. OK. We'll buy that. Whatever.

NeNe ..... has moved with her family to a new house and is neighbors with Lisa. NeNe mended fences with Sheree last night (why??), and drank mimosas with BFF Dwight...who commented on "how dreadful" certain items in NeNe's new house were. Oh yea. Dwight gave quite the grinding, crawling, and gyrating performance for NeNe while they sipped on those mimosas.

And we met Kandi, who is friends with Lisa, and has an adorable 6 year old daughter, Riley, that will probably end up stealing the show.

Speaking of Lisa..... not too much happening except she and hubby decided they will try for another baby. Lisa wants nothing to do with Kim (feeling is very mutual), and we hear that Lisa will be designing her own line of clothing that will compete with Sheree's line.

That is it in a nutshell. The girls are back and Dwight too. But I think Sheree's head is getting too big for all of them to fit on my tv screen. I am worried.

Paula's Idol Offer Stays On Table

With two weeks until auditions start up on American Idol, Paula Abdul still has no contract. According to The Scoop on MSNBC, there is apparently an offer on the table from the Idol producers, however it’s ".... not one that Paula is happy with,” said a source close to the singer. “She sees the big money Ryan Seacrest got, she knows that Simon is close to a huge deal, too. She feels like it’s personal that she’s not getting the same big numbers,” said the source.

So will a stand-off mean the end for Paula on American Idol? Some sources have been reported to claim that Idol producers will walk away from Paula if she does not accept the offer on the table; Yet another source close to the production team has reportedly claimed that “They know she’s irreplaceable, to walk away would be at most, a ratings disaster, at the least, a frightening prospect going into the next season,” according to a source close to the production.

Katherine Jackson To Get Full Custody Of Michael's Children

People.com is reporting that Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, is going to have full custody of Jackson's three children. L. Londell McMillan, the attorney for Katherine Jackson, said on The Early Show Thursday morning that the issue of Debbie Rowe, who is the mother of two of the children – Prince Michael I, 12, and Paris, 11 – Rowe (the biological mom of 12-year-old Prince Michael and 11-year-old Paris) agreed to terms that will give the 79-year-old Jackson matriarch full custody in exchange for visitation rights.

"There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson,"

"It's an agreement...for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. There's no situation better for these children than to be raised and reared under the care of Mrs. Jackson," stated McMillan.

And when asked about Michael Jackson's debts and estate, McMillan answered:

"That estate is worth, in my estimation, a couple of billion dollars," he said. "You hear $500 million. Don't buy it."

Michael Jackson's final wishes stipulated in his will were that his mother raise the kids, which includes 7-year-old Prince Michael II (aka "Blanket"), who was born via artificial insemination and whose mother's identity remains unknown. A judge is expected to sign off on the arrangement during a court hearing Monday.

David Boreanaz and wife Expecting Baby Girl

Bones star David Boreanaz and wife Jaime Bergman are expecting a baby girl. David recently released a message to his fans explaining why he was not able to attend Comic-Con last week:

“I’m a little bit stuck in Los Angeles due to the fact that my wife is on her 34th week [of pregnancy with] our second child. And I’d like you to know that it’s going to be a girl.”

But Boreanaz does not want to share baby names...

“Don’t ask me the name because I’m not going to give out any of that personal information,” he added.

The couple's baby girl is due in early September and will join big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.

Suleman's Octuplets To Have Guardian

Nadya Suleman and her 14 children, all under age 8, are due to start filming a reality show on Sept. 1. The children's television contracts were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, and are waiting for a judge's approval however before the filming can officially start.

Collectively, the children will earn nearly $250,000 over a three year period of filming in the contract with European production company Eyeworks.

Yesterday a California judge ordered that a lawyer be appointed as a guardian of Suleman's octuplets to oversee their finances, saying he wanted to ensure they weren't exploited by reality television shows, tabloid photo or other paid ventures.

The petition was filed on behalf of Paul Peterson, a former Disney Mouseketeer who is an advocate for the fair treatment of children in entertainment.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Gerald Johnston dismissed arguments for family privacy and ruled Monday that an independent party should be appointed to scrutinize the finances of Suleman's octuplets.

Santa Ana lawyer Norbert Bunt was appointed guardian ad litem, and is scheduled to appear at the court's next hearing, Aug. 31.

Jillian's ring, which she says she " can’t stop looking at" is a $60,000 platinum ring set with a 2.05-carat pear-shaped center diamond with six baguette-cut diamonds to accent the center stone and 94 round-cut diamonds. Jeweler Neil Lane says he designed the ring with the assortment and arrangement of diamonds “so that at every angle there would be the shimmering effect of diamonds.” Further, he says, “I thought the ring would fit Jillian’s personality perfectly.”

Aw...Jillian and Ed Made Me Smile Tonight!

So I am happy with the Bachelor/Bachelorette "powers- that- be" once again. After the Jason/Melissa debacle, I swore I wouldn't watch another Bachelor show again.

I lied. Well, not so much lied, as I really believed at the time that I wouldn't watch again. But I succumbed and got drawn in again this season with Jillian.

And tonight, I am happy for Jillian and Ed, but still a bit skeptical when it comes to Ed. I doubted Ed. Didn't like him or his green briefs. I thought Jillian would be making a mistake choosing Ed, and hoped she would choose Kiptyn or Reid. I was skeptical and snarky.

Tonight, they both looked so darn cute and giddy with happiness that I couldn't stop smiling. I almost felt like I had rose-colored glasses on and could hear bluebirds singing.

Just kidding. But seriously, I am happy for Jill and Ed. I just hope that Ed is for real and does not break Jillian's heart. I loved them tonight...but I still have a strange feeling about Ed. Too many rumors sill floating around about Ed having a girlfriend back home.....and something just seems "off " with the guy.

But for tonight I'll put my skepticism aside, and wish only the best for Jillian and Ed.

Joe Jonas and Camille Belle have split up....confirms a rep for Belle. Joe Jonas, 19, is in the middle of a Jonas Brother World Tour, and reportedly was visibly "sad" while singing during a Jonas Brothers concert in Detroit last night. Jonas performed a song entitled,"Much Better," which the Jonas brother wrote after he began dating Belle, 22, last fall.

Celebrity Baby News: Angie Everhart is a New Mom!

Actress-Model Angie Everhart gave birth Friday, July 24th to a baby boy. Life & Style Magazine confirms that Kayden Bobby Everhart was born at 11:28 PM on Friday, July 24. Kayden weighed 8 pounds, 4.9 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Everhart's manager, Sheryl Abrams told Life & Style that "Both mom and baby are doing very well," adding, "Kayden is so handsome."

The new mom is also the new face for Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula anti-stretch mark products.

Asked by Celebrity Baby Blog what her favorite part of being pregnant was, Everhart's answer:

“The best part is when the baby moves,” she said. “He lets me know he’s there.”

Tori Spelling Invites Mom To Stella's First Birthday Party

If you watch the Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood reality television show, then you may have thought a truce was finally about to happen between Tori and her mom, Candy Spelling.

Think again.

The two-part season finale of "Home Sweet Hollywood" is centered around Tori's seemingly gut-wrenching decision to invite her mom to the birthday party for Stella--Tori and Dean's daughter. Finally, viewers get to believe the embattled mother/daughter Spelling duo will patch things up, and Candy Spelling will finally meet her granddaughter.

Sadly, we will be wrong.

Candy has issued an "open letter" in which she refers to her grandchildren as "reality show props (ouch!) to Tori. The open letter was published on the website, TMZ. In it, Candy explains to viewers that though at first she emailed "yes" to the birthday invitation, she did not realize that Tori and Dean were setting her up to be the focus of a two part season finale. Further, Candy states that when (more like if ever now) she meets her granddaughter for the first time, it should be done privately, not in front of television cameras.

You know Tori, your mom may have a point there. Not everything has to be about ratings.

Tori's mom finishes her open letter to her daughter by reflecting on thoughts shared by Tori's dad, Aaron Spelling:

"My husband taught me that the plots have to be fresh and updated. The same old whining gets tired after a while," she wrote. "Enough complaining about what may or may not have happened during first grade or YMCA camp, or what vegetable you were forced to endure, especially when you are privileged enough to be on TV and get paid for it... Life isn't just a show. Make your own season finale without creating conflicts you will regret later."

OOPS.....I almost forgot to mention the fact that the elder Spelling refers to Tori as "middle-aged" in the letter.

Ouch.

Life is too short for this guys. If I were in Candy's shoes, I think I would race to meet my granddaughter...cameras or not. And Tori.....let it go. You are an adult now. Move on and let your kids know their grandmother.

Nadya Suleman Makes a TV Deal

It is signed and delivered, but still needs a court seal of approval: The OctoMom and her 14 children have a reality TV deal if papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday are approved.

Suleman's 14 children will collectively earn nearly $250,000 over the next three years. They'll receive $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year.

The show will be produced by the company Eyeworks (also behind the shows Breaking Bonaduce and The Biggest Loser.) Filming is set to start September 1, 2009 pending court approval.

Still No Contract For Paula..and What About Jennifer Lopez??

American Idol and Paula Abdul.....is it a parting of the ways? There is still no contract between Paula and American Idol, and rumors have been flying suggesting replacements are being approached. Who could replace Paula Abdul as a judge, you ask?? Well, this week the name Jennifer Lopez has been bantered about as a top contender should there be a new judge on Idol.

The rumor that Lopez may replace the contract-less (is that a word? didn't think so. oh well.) Paula got started when Idol's (rich) sweetheart, Ryan Seacrest, were spotted having dinner at Madeo in Los Angeles earlier this month. Seacrest told paparazzi outside Madeo that “Jennifer and Paula would be a hell of a combination” on the show. Hmm.

But wait. People has reported this weekend that Jennifer's reps are saying No Way:

“The rumor of Jennifer Lopez throwing herself in the ring to take over for Paula Abdul is completely false. Jennifer loves Idol but just as a fan. She just wrapped the feature film The Back-Up Plan, due out January 2010, and will release an album then as well.”

Hmm. So birthday girl Jennifer...who turned 40 this Friday, is not replacing Paula. At least that is what we are told now. But from what we've heard, Paula is p******off with AI, and has said she will not return most likely. I can't say I blame her for feeling that way. Amerian Idol is making this a silly insulting publicity stunt with Paula. In my opinion. If anyone asks.

Katherine Heigl Back To Grey's Anatomy

Actress Katherine Heigl is back at work on Grey's Anatomy. The actress appeared on David Letterman Monday, and kept mum on whether she returns as a ghost, or a survivor of a terrible illness.

Last we saw Izzie... she was flat- lining on the operating table. We know T.R. Knight has left Grey's and his character met his end in a horrific accident. Will Izzie be joining him "on the other side" or make a miraculous recovery?

David Letterman thought Heigl gave a clue about her return, when the actress complained about the first day back on the Grey's set being a 17 hour day:

“Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day,” Heigl said, “which I think is cruel and mean.”

“I’m guessing if you’re working 17 hours, that means you’re not dead,” Letterman observed. Heigl’s reply: “What if, however, Dave, I was in a bed in a coma for 17 hours, they could do that to me.”

Taco Bell Loses Chihuahua Mascot

Gidget, the Chihuahua who starred in Taco Bell commercials, died from a stroke on Tuesday night at age 15.

Sue Chipperton, Gidget's trainer, says the entertaining chihuahua enjoyed her retirement days laying out in the sun, and going on shoots with Chipperton where Gidget kept everyone entertained.

Actor Stephen Baldwin Files Bankruptcy

With legal papers saying he is millions in debt, actor Stephen Baldwin filed for bankruptcy in New York, Tuesday.

His wife, Kennya Baldwin, also is named in the document.

According to reports, Baldwin owes a bank nearly $1.2 million on one mortgage and owes almost $900,000 to the IRS, $200K to New York State and $70K to credit card companies.

Baldwin's Upper Grandview, N.Y., home is set to be auctioned off on Wednesday, and his other Rockland County home is also on the market.

The actor was on the reality TV show last month, "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" Baldwin left the show after getting an infection. The actor says he was bitten more than 125 times during his eight days on the show.

Maybe motivated by his financial troubles, Stephen Baldwin has been seen on other reality TV shows the last few years, including Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Mole Hawaii.

Stephen Baldwin, a self proclaimed born again Christian, is the brother of Alec Baldwin who currently stars in the hit TV show, "30 Rock."

Michael Jackson's Doctor Investigation Continues

The Houston clinic of Michael Jackson's doctor was searched by DEA officials on Wednesday, as the investigation into Jackson's death continues.

Dr. Conrad Murray was Michael's personal physician, and was with the singer when he died. Murray, who is based in Las Vegas and is licensed in California, Nevada and Texas, has been interviewed by police but he has not been considered a suspect in the singer's death.

Chris Harrison Spoilers For Bachelors Tell All

Host of ABC's Bachelor, Chris Harrison, is sharing some tidbits about Monday night's "Men Tell All" show.

Chris has said that Wes did not join the other bachelors for the taping of the show. Good call, ABC. Apparently Wes is a bit tiffed(??) with ABC for portraying him as a villian. Uh, no Wes, you did a pretty good job of looking like a jerk on National TV yourself.

And joy of joys, we will get to see Jason and Molly. Whoop.

Things between the guys get heated, according to Chris, who admits he was surprised by the temperments of the bachelors.

“I wasn’t expecting much from these guys because usually by the time we do the reunion show, the guys have said their peace and they’re done. They don’t usually hold on to anger like the women do,” Harrison told PEOPLE. “It got out of hand in a hurry. They got aggressive from the moment we started rolling and it became like high school or a fraternity house.”

A topic of discussion focused on Ron (remember Ron on the boat, 'complimenting' Jillian for her derriere attributes??), and his crude behavior. Harrison points out that Ron did apologize, but still didn't seem to get it:

… He even looked at the women in the audience and was like, ‘What? You don’t want me to compliment your ass?’ That’s stunning.”

And what does Chris think of Wes exactly?

“I don’t care if he does or doesn’t have a girlfriend. I don’t even think that is the question anymore,” Harrison says. It was his overall lack of sincerity for her feelings … When he was around Jillian, he was Casanova with a guitar who said all the right things. He pushed it as far as he could and when things got serious, he pulled the parachute.”

And as far as the remaining two Bachelors, Ed and Kiptyn, Chris feels that Ed could be more of a 'best friend' type for Jillian, while Kiptyn seems to make Jillian feel insecure about their relationship:

“Each represents a different aspect of what she was looking for in her life. The only thing I see as a problem with Kiptyn is her insecurity with him. I don’t like the fact that she feels out of her league,” he says. “On the flip side, you know Ed and Jillian would be best friends for life, but do they have the sexual chemistry and intimacy? He left once but he came back and he’s been very open about how he feels. Every woman has had a best friend like Ed where they have wondered if they should take it further than that?”

Chris promises viewers some fun moments in the show, especially when a video of a recent Bachelor-Bachelorette cross-seasonal Las Vegas reunion weekend. There is a blooper clip, and of course, Jillian will be there to answer hot seat questions from the guys.

But Chris did not spoil one thing for viewers; Where in the world was Reid? Not at the Men Tell All Taping.

Soon after Paula Abdul's new manager, David Soneberg, told the Los Angeles Times, that Abdul may not return to Idol as a judge this season, fans looked to Twitter to show Abdul their support.

Using the hashtag #keeppaula, fans have been tweeting on Twitter ... even making the "Keep Paula" movement No. 2 on Twitter's much-contested trending topics list on Saturday evening for a while.

You almost miss the cute baby bump on Giselle in her"pretty -in-purple" dress. The supermodel is expecting her first baby with husband and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

The Bachelorette: Finale Spoilers,Rumors and Gossip

This season's Bachelorette will end with Jillian proposing (or being proposed to) in two weeks. Spoilers are being divulged all over the Internet, but are they true or not...being a reality TV show with producers that like to bring in high ratings at whatever the cost (yes, I'm referring to the Jason/Melissa debacle, of course), it's a safe bet to assume nothing is for certain.

But what we know at this point in the game, is that Ed and Kiptyn remain as the final two. And we saw Reid go away in the Limo lamenting the fact he never told Jillian how he really felt.

The possible spoiled scenarios being rumored are that

1. Jillian proposes to Ed and Ed turns her down because he is actually dating another girl back home (Wes??? is that you in disguise??)

2. Heartbroken Jillian is then surprised by a heartfelt confession-turning -into -a -proposal from Reid, who actually never went home but stayed in Hawaii in order to get a second chance w/ Jillian.

3. Jillian prposes to Ed, who first says no, then reappears to propose to Jillian later that day--when he gets over his cold feet. Jillian, we would, hope would say no. Then accepts Reid's surprise proposal.

4. Jillian proposes to Ed, who says yes, and when Reid returns for his second chance, he leaves again broken hearted. Ed and Jillian remain engaged.

Rumor has it that Reid is not on the traditional "Men Tell All Show" this Monday night. Could this mean he is in Hawaii??

Jake is rumored to be the next Bachelor. So is Kiptyn. So is Wes(??!!).

Jillian has said she ends up happy and in love. So when we see her crying in the finale previews, it must be temporary, and she will indeed be in love and engaged.

My bets are on Ed or Reid. I am hoping Reid. Or even Kiptyn. I don't like Ed. Or his speedo shorts/bathing suit/whatever you call those green things. Shudder.

Big Brother Covers Up Houseguest Remarks

So Big Brother contestant Chima Simone gave quite the empowered speech Thursday night to save herself from eviction. It worked. Chima stayed in the BB House, while fellow contestant, Braden Bacha was voted out. But what many viewers may not know is that there was some heavy censoring going on Thursday night by CBS.

In her speech, Chima referred to deragatory racial terms used by Braden. Also edited out was Simone saying that Bacha had used an insulting word when referring to the host of Big Brother, Julie Chen, who also co-hosts "The Early Show."

CBS said the statements were removed from the broadcast because they were offensive and did not meet the network's standards. The network issued a statement on Friday, saying
"any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a houseguest appearing on 'Big Brother,' either on any live feed from the house or the broadcast, are those of the individuals speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

Chima told her fellow house guests during "Big Brother After Dark" "...... 'If someone's a racist, they should be portrayed as one. You shouldn't edit it to make them look good.'"

Should CBS edit comments by contestants...or let them air?
