Arrested: Hayden Panettiere's Dad

Oops. Not such a good weekend for the the family of Hayden Panettiere. Seems that patriarch, Alan Panettiere, took offense at some remarks allegedly made by his wife, Lesley, earlier in the evening at a paty they attended.

Reports say that Alan felt disrespected by his wife, and so allegedly hit her on the cheek. West Hollywood's Sheriff's Dept. was called to the couple's home about 3 AM Monday morning, and Alan Panetierre was arrested on a felony count of domestic violence. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

People Magazine is reporting how the last final moments for Bernie Mac and family were according to the sister-in-law of Bernie Mac.

Suffice to say the article made me weepy again, but also felt like there was understanding and acceptance between Mac, his wife and daughter at the end.

Tori Spelling Upset Over 90210 Salaries?

According to The Huffingon Post, new mama (2nd time around) Tori Spelling is upset that she was to be paid quite a bit less for her role on the new 90210 series than returning counterparts Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth.

So though we have heard that Tori simply pulled out of the new series due to time commitments with a new baby and all...which is very plausible...it actually seems that Spelling pulled out of the Beverly Hills Spinoff over money matters.

I don't understand why any of them are getting paid what they do in the first place. But, fair is fair, and between Tori, Shannen and Jennie, I say pay them the same if they are going to be on the show. Sheesh.

Breast Cancer Diagnosis For Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate who starred in the long runninh hit, Married With Children, has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Applegate, 36, was diagnosed with cancer during a regular MRI, spokeswoman Ame Van Iden said in an email.

"Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery," Van Iden said.

The mother of the actress reportedly has also dealt with breast cancer as well as cervical cancer.

According to reports, Christina Applegate is undergoing treatment for the cancer, and is expected to make a full recovery. The breast cancer was caught very early on and her publicist is reporting that it is not life threatening.
