Not sure why the distressed Spears needs a new car, but apparently she does. Britney, Sam Lutfi, and Spear's mom all went shopping together today at a Mercedes Benz dealership.
Maybe a new car will make things all right again.
Maybe it's an early Mother's Day gift for mama Lynne Spears.
