Helio Crosses "Dancing" Finish Line in First Place

Helio Castrovenes and his dancing partner Julianne Hough are the "Dancing With The Stars" Champions.

Going into Tuesday night's finals were Marie Osmond, Mel Brown (Spice Girls), and Helio Castroveneas. Marie Osmond was eliminated very early on, leaving Helio and Mel as the final two. The show endured on for two hours with dancing solos by each of the eliminated contestants. Celine Dion was a welcome highlight of the show and gave beautiful performances.

It could be an understatement to say that Julianne and Helio were shocked when their names were announced as the champions..but if you saw their faces at that moment, you would know what shock looks like.

Spice Girls Visit Dancing With The Stars

All the Spice Girls showed up Monday night at the Dancing With The Stars Finals, part One. The girls were there to support their own, Mel Brown. Tuesday night will yield the winner of the Dancing With the Stars Competition, and as of Monday night, Mel was leading by one point.

Another "Bachelor" Couple Faces Turmoil

On The Bachelor's After The Final Rose Show, Mary and Byron were brought on supposedly to reaffirm the romantic possibilities the show can produce. Fans of The Bachelor will remember Mary and Byron from the 2004 Bachelor. Mary Delgado received the final rose from Bachelor Byron, and the couple have presumably stayed in love and together (But not married) since then. When the couple appeared on the recent After The Final Rose episode ( remember..the one where bachelor Brad chose no one), they appeared in love, and Mary spoke of wedding plans for sometime in the coming year. Mary even gushed about her new found passion for fishing as that is one of Byron's favorite sports.

Well, apparently all was not as it seemed. Mary Delgado was arrested Wednesday for allegedly punching a man she lives with in the mouth. Hmm..we all know who she lives with, especially after their latest television appearance. Delgado was also found to be under the influence of alcohol.

There has been no statement from the Bachelor couple.

Is Brad a Cad?

Or an honestly confused man who just can't commit? Hmm...the debate may go on for some time on this one. Brad Womack probably did very little to improve his image in the minds of many women last night after his appearance on After The Rose Show. He seemed rather stony when both Deanna and Jenny were expressing their confusion and hurt to him. Vague and unspecific answers were all Brad offered to both women, along with self-serving whimpering about how confused he was. When confronted with the truth about asking the producers to fly out Deanna's father because he was going to propose to Deanna, Brad did his aloof but oh so sincere shrugging and defended himself saying that he was trying to make it work until the end. Poor Guy. Lucky Deanna and Jenny, I say. Bye Brad.

Jennie Garth Leaves Dancing

Jennie Garth was the next to go last night on Dancing With The Stars Result Show. Garth and her partner, Derek Hough, performed their Cha Cha Cha Dance once more last night at the judges request. But, even though Jennie and Derek got a perfect score for the dance on Monday night's show, and the repeat performance request on Tuesday night, the couple didn't get the votes needed to stay in the competition.

Neil Diamond Reveals Inspiration For Song

Singer-Song writer Neil Diamond has revealed the inspiration for a decades old hit, "Sweet Caroline". Diamond was inspired by a photograph he saw of a young Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President Kennedy. The young Caroline was dressed in her riding gear, and the photo so inspired Neil Diamond that he wrote the song "Sweet Caroline" years later in a hotel room. The singer performed the song for the grown up Caroline who recently celebrated her 50th birthday. Diamond performed via satellite at Kennedy's Birthday party.

Angelina's "Beowulf" A Box Office Hit

The animated film comes from an Old English heroic epic poem, Beowulf. The film is made in motion capture, and has the look of " The Polar Express". Angelina Jolie plays the angered mother/creature of antagonist, Grendel. Grendel is killed by the hero, Beowulf. The movie follows the ensuing epic battle between Mother Grendel ( Jolie) and beowulf( played by Ray Winstone.

Olsen Twin In Hospital

Mary- Kate Olsen was hospitalizd with a kidney infectio, according to her rep. The actress of Olsen Twin Fame, and most recently of Showtime's "Weeds", is "resting comfortably" in a New York hospital, according to the Rep., Nicole Caruso. said Mary-Kate shpould be released in a day or so, repoted Caruso.

Former Top Chrf Contestant, Josie Smith-Malave, was attacked Labor Day weekend. Police have arrested two women in the case. The attacks included spitting, yelling racial slurs, and hitting. Malave was a contestant in season two of Bravo's "Top Chef".

An Osmond Apology To Larry King

Donny Osmond has apologized to Larry King. Big Brother Donny was angered when Larry King apparently caught little sis Marie Osmond off guard with a question about her son. King asked Marie about her 16 year old son entering rehab when King interviewed the brother -sister duo on his show. Donny publicly crticized Larry King for the apparent ambush, but has now apologized. Big Brother Donny realized that tabloids were about to announce the story anyway, and Marie Osmond was actually given the opportunity, thanks to Larry King, to make a statement before the tabloids came out with it.

Julia Roberts Brings Baby Pictures To Oprah's Show

Julia Roberts was on Monday's Oprah episode. Roberts showed first time pictures of her newest family addition, Henry. Though Roberts had the baby boy in June, the pictures shown on Oprah today are the first Julia Roberts has shared with the public.

The Bachelor Picks ---- No One!!

Nope. No one got the ring tonight on ABC's "The Bachelor". Both Jenni and Deanna met bachelor Brad's family in the beginning of tonight's show. Mom approved of both women, but mentioned she found it a little easier to talk with Deanna. Next, Brad had his last dates with each contestant. Both Jen and Deanna professed their love for Brad, and staed they hoped to be the one he chose! Brad picked out a ring, and bemoaned his terrible fate in having to let one of the women go home. Poor Brad! Then came the long-awaited rose ceremony/proposal?? First to arrive was...Jen. All smiles, she happily made her way down the path to Brad. Then, she stopped smiling. Jen was given the sad smiles, kind words, and ultimate goodbye kiss. Brad escorted Jen to the limo, and sent her on her teary way. Poor Jen. Next came Deanna. Her walk down to Brad was a bit more pensive. Now here I really do mean it--poor Deanna. She had to stand there while Brad went on and on, sounding wishy washy. He finally mentioned something about just saying good bye to Jen, which of course brought a smile to the nervous Deanna. But it was not a smile that would last. Brad also told Deanna that he would not make any promises to her, and basically told Deanna that though he liked her sooooo much, it was "goodbye" to her too. HUH? What kind of ending was this? Last clip viewers got to see was a tearful Brad sitting with the ring in his hand, and a lonely single rose on the table behind him. Ah, poor Brad. Not. The "After The Rose" show is on Tuesday night. Deanna and Jen will be there. Should be interesting.

An interview with Renee Zellweger is featured in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar Magazine. Zellweger admits she is proud to have not been to the Betty Ford Center, and to have kept her sanity. The December issue will be on newstands November 20th.

Designers Hit The Runway

Bravo's "Project Runway" returns for it's fourth season tonight. The season opener will find the 15 contestants rushing about as they each design a dress they hope will wow the judges. By the end of the show, there will be 14 designers remaining.

Yum! Justin Timberlake has agreed to host the PGA Tour's Annual Las Vegas Event.The inaugural Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open will take place Oct. 13-19 at the famed TPC-Summerlin course, with the Justified Grammy winner scheduled to play in an Oct. 15 celebrity Pro-Am that precedes the 72-hole tournament and host a concert sometime during the week. Timberlake will be hosting the "fourplay" for the next five years.

The footage,shown on celebrity news website, TMZ, shows momma Britney blowing the red light with her two young sons in the backseat of her car. Mickey Rourke was arrested Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence. Rourke, star of "Sin City," "Diner" and "9 1/2 Weeks," was arrested and booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail, said Janelle Hall, a jail spokeswoman. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Judge Orders Britney To Get A Phone Number

Britney Spears is to have one working telephone number available for the lab to call her on to request she come in for her random drug testing. Britney is to notify everyone involved if she changes her phone number. This ruling came Thursday by the judge in the case, after Kevin Federline reported that Britney had not been complying with her court-ordered drug testing requirements.

Britney Missing Drug Testing?

Kevin Federline's attorney said in in court Thursday that Britney Spears has been called for drug testing 14 times, but has failed to respond eight of those times. Spear's attorney explained to the judge that Britney was unable to respond to some of the lab calls within the hour, as Britney is supposed to do, because she was asleep when those calls came in. The lawyers have been ordered to come up with a plan that that works.

Reruns Coming Up...Strike Continues

The strike by Television and film writers is continuing on. Several actors from the television series,"ER", joined striking writers on Tuesday at Warner Bros. Studios. In Toluca Lake, actress Eva Longoria brought pizza to striking writers that had converged outside a shoot location for "Desperate Housewives". Ellen Degeneres told her studio audience that she is contractually bound to continue her show, but that she does support her writers. Late night shows have started showing reruns.

Eagles Soar Past Britney

Billboard 200 Top Albums has named The Eagles number one this week. Expexctations had been that Britney Spears would be given the title. The Eagles and Britney were both up at the top of the charts this past week with the number of sales, but since The Eagles album was being exclusively sold by Walmart, and Billboard usually does not consider those type of exclusive arrangements, it was presumed Spears would emerge victorious. However, a late ruling change on Tuesday by Billboard changed everything. Walmart released its sales numbers, and Billboard decided it will now accept exclusive selling agreements, and The Eagles soared into first place.

Jane Seymour Classy In Defeat

Jane Seymour was the next contestant to leave the dancefloor on Dancing With The Stars Tuesday night. The actress was gracious and classy as she thanked the fans for their support.

Bees Come in Second

"Bee Movie" was outbuzzed by "American Gangster" at the weekend box office. "Bee Movie settled for second behind the "American Gangster." Jerry Seinfeld is a scheduled guest on Jay Leno Monday night, where chances are, he will "bee" talking about his movie.

Marathon Katie

- Katie Holmes participates in Sunday's New York City Marathon, finishing the race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds.


Husband Tom Cruise and their daughter, Suri, were at the finish line to congratulate the actress, according to event officials.

Holmes had registered under an alias so she wouldn't draw too much attention to herself, event officials said, but her time was listed in the official results under her real name.

The 26.2-mile course travels through all five boroughs of the city, starting on Staten Island and finishing in Manhattan's Central Park. This year, 39,085 runners started the race.

Paula Radcliffe, of Great Britain, who had a baby just 9 months ago, won the women's race in 2 hours, 23 minutes, 9 seconds. Martin Lel of Kenya won the men's title in 2:09:04.

Holmes has said she has always liked to run, and took it up to help lose baby weight after giving birth to her daughter, who is now a year old.

The Simpsons.......

Buzz is getting louder about the upcoming relaese of The Simpson Movie. The DVD is said to be set for release December 18, 2007. The movie of course centers on Homer Simpson, and his somewhat accidental polluting of the town's lake with pig feces. Forced to flee from angry townspeople of Springfield, Homer and family find safety in Alaska. Homer eventually belives he is meant to save the polluted town of Springfield, and of course, sets off to do just that.

The Amazing Race Meets The Playboy Mansion

The Amazing Race 12 will premiere tonight on CBS at 8pm. The teams teams will start the race at The Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills. From there, the 11 teams will go to Ireland as they start their around the world quest to win one million dollars. One change in the format that viewers will notice is the absence of the "Non Elimination" Pit Stops.
This season, a team will be eliminated at the end of every Amazing Race 12 episode.
Like all previous The Amazing Race editions, each of the members of the 11 teams competing on the show's twelfth installment have a pre-existing relationship with one another. Five teams consist of couples who are married or dating, four teams are made up of family members, and two teams are friends. The Amazing Race 12's course will span approximately 30,000 miles in 21 days, making it one of the shortest courses in the show's 12 seasons (The Amazing Race's Fall 2005 Family Edition, which included young children and their families as contestants, also spanned 30,000 miles).

"Beesy Beesy" Seinfeld

Actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld is very busy these days. His new movie, " Bee Movie", opened Friday in theaters, and has been getting "buzzed" all week long. Seinfeld has been actively promoting his new venture, appearing on talk shows like Oprah, Late Night With David Letterman, and Live With Regis and Kelly. At the Cannes film festival in May, Seinfeld donned a beesuit and bungee jumped. Obviously, Jerry Seinfeld is very proud of his new movie.

Britney invoved In Another Lawsuit

Britney Spears is being sued....again. The singer is being sued by her former manager, Johnny Wright. According to Wright, though he officially stopped being Britney's manager in 2003, he was supposed to still be getting paid commissions for deals he set up through 2008. Wright claims that he has not been paid, however, since December 2006.
