Billboard 200 Top Albums has named The Eagles number one this week. Expexctations had been that Britney Spears would be given the title. The Eagles and Britney were both up at the top of the charts this past week with the number of sales, but since The Eagles album was being exclusively sold by Walmart, and Billboard usually does not consider those type of exclusive arrangements, it was presumed Spears would emerge victorious. However, a late ruling change on Tuesday by Billboard changed everything. Walmart released its sales numbers, and Billboard decided it will now accept exclusive selling agreements, and The Eagles soared into first place.
